The wind season runs from March through October. May to September are the busiest months. The shoulder seasons are quieter, cheaper, and often just as good. Winter has wind too — less consistent, but the water is calmer and the spots are empty.
Tarifa has more than 12 kitesurf spots within 20 minutes of Finca Levante. The three most popular are Valdevaqueros (wide beach, both wind directions, all levels), Los Lances Norte (long sandy beach, ideal with Poniente) and Balneario (flat water with Levante, advanced).
