Two years chasing the wind across the world. This is where we stayed.
We're David and Tess. For two years we followed the wind around the globe: Tarifa in spring, Brazil in September, Cape Town in December. We kept working along the way, kited as much as we could, and were looking for one thing: a place to stay.
Early last year we were back in Tarifa. We viewed a handful of houses. Tess fell for the first one straight away. We kept looking, saw plenty more, but it stayed that first house. We made an offer. It took a year to close, right while we were in Brazil and Cape Town. On the 13th of March we came back, on the 10th of April we got the keys.

Why Tarifa, and not Cape Town or Brazil? Honestly: it's easy to reach and it feels familiar. Close enough for family and friends to drop by. To really go for it, this felt like the right place. Brazil and Cape Town, maybe one day.
We both love to share. That's why the finca is open to family, friends and kiters. Over the coming year we're renovating the house, in its old style, because that belongs here. Inside, everything gets updated for the first time in thirty years. No resort, no fake luxury. Just a good house in a good spot, where you feel at home. That's all we want for you.
